I mean what the fuck is this real world all these skilled seasoned adults speak of? Do they even live in it anymore? Do they know it’s a lot fucking different from what it used to be? Why wasn’t it explained to us in great detail during any of the million hours we were forced to spend in the classroom? Do they know how much of high school and college are utter bullshit? Do they know what it’s like to graduate in this fucking job market? DO THEY KNOW HOW FUCKING INFURIATING IT IS TO BE TOLD YOU DON’T KNOW A FUCKING THING ABOUT THE FUCKING REAL WORLD??? Okay, so in Science class yesterday we were talking about sleep cycles and melatonin and my science teacher said, “if you’re trying to sleep, avoid one colour. Blue. Your melatonin levels decrease when looking at the colour blue because it’s the colour of the sky.” GUYS, I KNOW WHY NONE OF US SLEEP. TUMBLR IS BLUE.

media rant
I do not care that Amanda Bynes got arrested.
I do not care about the latest “celebrity sleaze” or “dirty laundry” segment on radio shows in between the songs I want to hear.
I do not care about the celebrity gossip section on Yahoo! or any other news source.
There are celebrities I actually care to hear about, but they are few and far in between, and I would prefer that the piece contain a conversation with that person, treating that person like an actual human being.
All the celebrity gossip and obsession needs to CALM THE FUCK DOWN.
I would rather hear about important issues going on in my country or my world and information that would be useful to someone trying to help make the world a better place.
Let’s straighten out our priorities, shall we?
